MF 1/8 Elsie

This figure is much bigger and heavier than I thought. It’s  larger than a 1/8 scale figure usually is， and the soul-capturing bottle stage and the magical scarf make it looks even bigger. The pink scarf may be the best part of it, glossy and smooth just like it’s made of real silk. The wavy shape it’s sculped makes me almost feel it’s floating, but it is actually much heavier than it looks like. The way the bottle stage tilted toward the front just helps to balance the weight I guess.

Everything else makes this figure an awesome one except the face. It does not look like either the manga image or the anime one. Basically the face is just too flat. The pony tail is really nice but the front hair lacks any detail. Taken together with the flat face, this part looks much cheaper than the others.
